Applicable to users of the PK Connect freelance marketplace — both clients and freelancers.
1. Scope
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all service transactions carried out through PK Connect (pkconnectdev.com).
It governs refunds related to project payments, milestones, and deliverables exchanged between clients and freelancers through the platform.
This policy does not cover registration fees, membership plans, or promotional credits unless otherwise stated.
2. Service Deliverables & Refunds
Once a project contract begins and a payment or milestone is funded, refunds are subject to the outcome of the deliverable.
A client must first raise a dispute through the PK Connect platform if work is not delivered or not satisfactory.
PK Connect will attempt to mediate and facilitate a fair resolution between the client and the freelancer — such as re-work, partial refund, or full refund, based on the evidence and communication history.
3. Conditions for Refund & Deductions
Full or Partial Refunds May Be Approved If:
The freelancer fails to deliver any work or deliverable within the agreed timeline and does not respond to correction requests.
The delivered work is not in accordance with the agreed project specifications, and the freelancer fails to fix it after reasonable notice.
The project is cancelled before work begins, or no substantial work has been done.
Other exceptional cases, at the sole discretion of PK Connect.
Refunds Will Not Be Approved If:
The client changes their mind or cancels after major progress has been made.
The client fails to communicate, provide requirements, or causes delays.
The freelancer delivers work, and the client does not raise a dispute within 15 days of delivery.
Any dispute arises after the dispute window has expired.
4. Work-in-Progress or Mid-Project Cancellations
If 30% – 50% of the work has already been completed and:
the client requests major changes beyond the original agreed scope, or
the client cancels or dismantles the project before completion,
then 25% of the total project amount will be deducted from the package price and paid to the freelancer as a compensation for the time and effort invested.
This clause ensures fairness and accountability for both sides in partial-work scenarios.
5. Refund Process
The client must submit a refund or dispute request via their dashboard, providing relevant details and evidence (chat history, files, etc.).
PK Connect will review the request, verify the progress, and contact both parties for clarification.
After reviewing the case, PK Connect will make a decision — which may include a full refund, partial refund, or no refund.
Once approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.
Refunds will be sent using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise specified.
6. Platform & Processing Fees
Refunds do not include payment-gateway fees, transfer fees, or platform commissions, unless otherwise decided by PK Connect.
These amounts are non-refundable because they are charged by third-party payment providers at the time of transaction.
7. Changes to This Policy
PK Connect reserves the right to amend this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of our platform after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
